Peekskill Robin's Report, August 26, 2009

The Atlantic Collegiate League recently named their 2009 Post Season Award Winners and the Peekskill Robin's Jeff Gallagher Award for Sportsmanship, was given to Michael Imbriale of the Savannah College of Arts and Design. This award is given to the player that exemplifies not only good play, but good sportsmanship on and off the field. Imbriale batted .343 for the Robins this past summer. In other news, David Erickson [2005] who played for the University of Connecticut is currently 3-4 with a 3.19 era for the Eugene Emeralds [San Diego Padres] with 7 saves in 31 innings pitched with 24 strikeouts.
